HIV (AIDS)

HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is found in 1985 that cause AIDS is a viral infection that damage the immune system. People's who infected by HIV can lead healthy life for many years before they develops AIDS. Nearly 40 million people are infected by HIV infection and 25 million have died from this disease.

AIDS also known as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is a progressive condition of HIV infection. Our immune system is to fight with diseases, but when HIV attacks the human body it breaking down the immune system. The immune system weakens and loses its ability to fight diseases with the passage of time. A person can die from infections like bacteria, viruses and other types of microscopic germs that are dangerous to healthy people.

HIV/AIDS Transmission:-
There are several possible cause of HIV transmission from person to person through the the interchange of body fluids like blood, semen, breast milk and through sex. HIV infection is mostly spread by having sexual contact, sharing needles or syringes when injecting drugs. Women can transmit HIV virus to their child's during childbirth or through breastfeeding. There are less chances of HIV spread through exchange of blood.
